We are two graduates who previously attended Dr Challoner’s Grammar School in Amersham. From an early age we both competed in regional hiking competitions with the Scouts, winning various hikes. We have decided to take on the 'ultimate challenge'. We shall drive from Buckinghamshire, to Die Hel (South Africa) via the east African coast before returning home via the west coast. This circumnavigation of Africa is our year out following University and before we must enter the world of work. The entire trip is in aid of two charities; Link Ethiopia and Alzheimer's Research UK. It's going to be long and tough, but we are determined to succeed.
