My best travel experience
At the moment the one that stands out the most is going on a houseboat in the backwaters of Kerala. After the madness, noise and crowds of India, the peace and quiet of the backwaters, coupled with the beautiful fresh food and nice operators makes that an experience that was truly enjoyable.
My worst ever travel experience
After spending four days in the Thar desert of India with a runny bum and everywhere I went being stared at and pursued by all life I passed from the moment I awoke until the moment I climbed in my sleeping bag and then taking a bus trip that should've been three hours but ended up being up being six and then arriving at our hotel only to have a Hindu wedding happening next door complete with banging drums, clanging bells and blaring Casio keyboards. It all felt like a plot to drive me mad and it nearly worked!
