Ever since I was growing up in a little seaside town in England, I have wanted to see the world. When the opportunity to take off came along I grabbed it with both hands and took off for New Zealand and Australia. The travel bug really got to me, because after finishing my university degree and working for a few years, I decided to apply for a job in Mexico and take off again. After spending four years working and traveling around in Central America, I have just returned to European soil: Amsterdam to be exact. Here I am undergoing a self designed integration crash course. At present my biggest challenge is trying to master the language, which involves a lot of spitting, gurgling and making disgusting sounds. Besides this I have started work in a bicycle shop. You can’t get any more integrated into Dutch society than that…..
