About me

After living 18 years of my life in High Wycombe England, I decided it was time to pack my bags and head off travelling. This sudden choice led me to head off to Central America for 7 months, 5 months of which living and working in Belize and Guatemala with an English organisation Trekforce Worldwide, and the other 2 months working in an ecological hotel in Guatemala, Finca Ixobel. After returning home it took no time at all to realise being back was the most soul destroying thing ever, and soon led to thinking of ways to get back on the road again. It didn't take long for me to realise that I wanted to head back to the realms of expeditions, as I had been doing in the jungles of Belize, and so started gaining various bits of experience to point my CV in the right direction. Roughly six months past whilst back in the UK and as time dragged on, my patience to get back on the road hit zero, and so once again packed up the bags and headed off for a round the world trip with my friend Jay. The trip will last roughly a year and then it will be back home to continue to work my way towards expeditions once again.

My best travel experience
Being on expedition in the Chiquibul National Park in Belize. 2 months of living and working in the middle of the jungle without coming out. Travelling at its purest, seeing what very few people have seen before and things that most people will never see ever.

My worst ever travel experience
I don't think I have ever really had any bad experiences. I suppose it's not so nice when you have problems with credit cards and things, but I guess it adds to the excitment abit. I think the worst thing about travelling is leaving behind the people that you grow so close to when you leave to go back home, or onto the next destination.
